May Round Up

Lately, the ways of the universe are shifting in a new light and I'm learning how to step back and just let it be. I've kept a journal since I was 13, but the world of blogging is challenging me and opening up new perspectives... I started doing these monthly round-up's 4 months ago as a little recap on what's been happening on my blog... But it's turning into something I look forward to at the end of each month. I little snippet of time to look back at what I've achieved, what's inspiring me and what you're enjoying...

Monochrome and Chains

So I've just gotten back into eBay!! I used to shop on eBay ALL the time, finding one off pieces not available in stores, getting things shipped from the US and UK, and paying hardly anything for it all... Anyways, I took a break for a while but recently have found a few sellers that are blowing my mind - and have to share with you! 'Cause let's face it, we all love a bargain and packages in the mail :)

One new love is an eBay store called Lookbook Store - they have new things arriving daily and have so many cute little accessories and basics for great price! I nabbed this black faux leather clutch bag for just $19! Perfect size to fit an iPad- a check pint for me when it comes to bags! It also comes in a burnt orange colour too - have a look here...

Live Loop Music Video Mash Up

Welcome to the product of my discovery of "advanced settings" in iMovie - a little snippet of a live show I did at Notes here in Sydney a few weeks ago... Some acoustic fun with my Digitech JamMan loop pedal (Jimi) on a new tune I wrote the day before... couldn't resist trying it out on a new audience!

I think in another life I'm a movie editor. Not because I'm great at it by any means - that and the fact I don't edit movies anyway, just little videos for my music stuff... But just because I love it. Like, alot. I think it's the idea of attention to detail in creating art... Anyways... Have some pictures!

From here on in, these babies will be known as my MOON BOOTS! I will wear them with glittery pride leaving a trail of sparkle-dust in my wake, brightening the day of all who see my feet moon-walking. And pissing off anyone with carpet.

And a little tip when you can't find the exact thing that's in your mind? Buy something that's close enough and hack at it with scissors, add buttons, add zippers, hitch it up, dye it or add lace... Get your Edward Scissor hands on! Haha Whatever it's missing - you can add it to make it truly unique.

After I couldn't find the right colour or cut off denim shirt/vest that I wanted - I got this long sleeved denim shirt from Forever 21 in Times Square when I was in New York last month.

Shirt... meet Scissors.

Lost in a Pair of Galaxy Leggings...

Ahhh the cold days of Sydney... Of Autumn... Of Winter.... It's all coming round so quickly and I've just started to realize I'm completely unprepared!! Loads of shorts and dresses and maxi skirts but not a huge range of pants live in my winter wardrobe. Eeek!

You gotta know by now how much I love a little galaxy gazing... So, I've started with these Evil Twin "Outer Limits" velvety leggings found at Beginning Boutique. And I'm thinking this winter, I'm gonna be doing a lot more print leggings. Oh woah - WATCH OUT! haha

New serious obsession? The latest tanks from UNIF Clothing... Lucky for me they're available at Market HQ and I've been stocking up from my big win from the MHQ Style Off! And speaking of - they're got SO much new stuff over there I recommend you check it out :)

On a more studded boot kinda note (did you see what I just did there - totally seamless segway)... I just found these babies on wantedshoes.com.au ... They're my favourite ROC Boots... with STUDS. Ahhhhhh. #WinterWishNumber1
