Wearing Your Memories

Play suit + Jacket: Three of Something   |   Crystal Jewellery: MojoMade   |   Necklace: Free People

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. What you see in something might be different to what I see. Like this cute little play suit from Three of Something's Highland Collection - it makes me smile because the print reminds me of the colours of my Grandmother's backyard. And that makes me happy because she was awesome. But it won't make you happy because of my Grandmother's backyard. It will make you happy because of something else.

It's funny how your memories can influence the clothes you buy, the perfume you wear and the incense or candles you burn. You can conjure up feelings of goodness just because of how you perceive or remember something, and really, it's the same with people… The people who stay close can see reflections of themselves in you, maybe of what they wish they could be or what they admire. And the people you don't like hold characteristics of the things you don't like about yourself and it's probably all you see. Man those people rub me the wrong way! :)

Be mindful of the way you love, the way you dislike and the way you treat other humans… And don't give away too much because people will take all that you give. And you will take from them.

It's an exchange of perceptions. It's a dance. And it's a game.

So enjoy the fuck out of it.
