Novella Nights

I've been playing around with editing photos on my mini iPad instead of only on my big fat Macbook (because in my head I'm preparing for a life on the road, living out of a suitcase with only a guitar, some crystals and mini iPad to live off, but more on that later). I'm in love with the Snapseed + Afterlight apps, but the only thing I've noticed is that Afterlife seems to leave some glitches in the final images. It reminders me of when you would burn a CD (kids, that's those shiny round things you use as coasters and frisbees - wait, whats a frisbee?) and sometimes it would have that really annoying glitchy-alien sound in the final burn. You know, that ticking, robot thing? It would mean you'd have to listen to every single song after burning it. How boring.

So, on our way to cocktail hour dinner the other night, in my killer new Novella Royale where-have-you-been-all-my-life-bell-bottoms thanks to Free People, and my fave Spell Designs lace kimono, Blair and I decided to try a little night photography - to see if we really need a fancy night flash or if we could get away with an iPhone light.  It would appear a flash is necessary. Anyway, the main thing that was on my mind during our crazy experimentation was, but CAN you wear a hat at night?

I still haven't found the answer.
