Building a City of Dreams is No Easy Feat

I know it's been a looooooong time since some style images graced the pages of MojoMade, but despite the fashion absence, I promise you I've been getting dressed each day and I generally look pretty cute with what I put together - there just doesn't seem to be a photographer handy these days to capture my style-awesomeness. I kid, I kid!

But no, really, those HUGE changes are still happening in my life, and style images just seem to be hitting the cutting room floor in the big picture of life right now. Yeah yeah, I've been saying that whole 'things are shifting' line for a long time now, but it's even true-er every time I say it. I just didn't realise HOW far away the end of that rainbow actually was and that once I got there, I'd have to DIG to get to the pot of gold. And that once I hit something solid, it was just a little box with a note in it saying "You had the power all along dear".

My life-movie is like a mixture of The Alchemist and The Wizard of Oz, but I'm a unicorn riding, guitar playing Rainbow Bright and the soundtrack is a mash up of The Doors and The Rolling Stones.

Anyways, I can assure you that I didn't think starting up a NEW business and NEW label (hint hint) whilst making NEW music was going to be SUCH a big job as it has always been so much easier than this for me. But then, that's what happens when you're ready for a bigger, better, more outlandish dream - the stakes are higher and the work load is heavier - but I know from experience that the rewards are greater, more fulfilling and the journey is more exciting the whole way!

Man, building a whole city of dreams is no easy feat, especially when you used to only build one house at a time! But, who knew taking responsibility for your life could be so much fun? Ha.
