The All Seeing Ice Cream

I'm going to admit it, it's gone on long enough and I feel I need to tell you... I've been stealing clothes from my bf's drawer! Tshirts, singlets and shirts - I'm guilty of it all - rolling the sleeves up, tying a knot around the waist, belting an oversize...

So, recently something new has entered the borrow-sphere-wardrobe! Let me introduce One Family

My mate Kal started up this little label with tees and sweaters but I doubt it'll be long before it blows up. The quality and attention to detail is out of this world and the artwork is ridiculous (like the All Seeing Ice-Cream Tee above). It's like a pop-art version of Dahli meets street style graffiti... Anyways, you can check out everything One Family has to offer weekly at the Bondi Markets or buy online here.

And you'll be seeing a whole lot more here coz I kinda stocked up, like a bear about to hibernate for the winter.

"Today's Look" with Andrew Mukamal in New York

One of the greatest things about the world of blogging and fashion online is the connections you can make all over the world via Twitter, Facebook etc...I came across Andrew Mukamal via Margaret Zhang the genius behind the blog Shine By Three when she recently visited New York.

Andrew is a stylist living in New York, has longer hair than me and is as enthusiastic as an arrow that's just been shot from it's bow and I had such a blast enjoying a sneaky Champagne and blogger/fashion/music chat with him!! PS. Those incredible pants are by The Story Of, from Market HQ.

I bought this jumper from inlovewithfashion.com over to the States with me but alas, the sun was shining it's ass off the entire time I was here and I didn't get the chance to wear it for long. What am I talking about? Alas?? It was great!!

I'm feeling like the oversized-sweater-jumper is going to shine this winter... It will for me anyway - there's somethng effortlessly rockin' about it. I've posted a few other ways to style the 'new' Sloppy Joe... Here and here. I'm liking both the bold and colourful approach along with the classic, sophisticated simplicity of a plain off-white-knit... Ahh now I'm gonna get stuck looking for an oversized-white-knit... Any suggestions where I should start?

I've got such a sweet spot for Betts Shoes, growing up a Perth girl, it was always the place your mum took you to get new school shoes, then for kids parties then for Bluelight discos - haha.

Heading Home via Polyvore

So I've got the return long-haul flight back to Australia coming up and again thinking about comfort and style for the ride home. I bought so many warm furry-like things over thinking that New York would be cold and it was actually hotter than LA! And this whole trip, I seemed to find my staple in my black suede Ringo's shorts from One Teaspoon and Wish maxi skirts... mixing them up with a few of the BF's t-shirts a few cute local finds (of course!!)

And I just got this little set for traveling from Ciao Bella Travel Accessories.
Yes, I know... MORE yellow/mustard. If you see a girl walking around looking like a life-size banana - it's me, come and say hi.
